A Call to Rise

Ready for success, prepared for failure

A group coaching experience that fosters a mindset of constant improvement and higher achievement, sets the necessary plans for your life in motion, and builds the capacity to withstand or recover from difficulties along the way.

“A setback has often cleared the way for greater prosperity. Many things have fallen only to rise to more exalted heights.” Seneca

Ordinary people shy away from negative situations - just like they avoid failure. Great people do the opposite. They turn the unwanted and crappy stuff to their advantage. How?

It's not enough to take advantage of the opportunities that come your way. You have to learn grittiness. You must build resilience. This is how you surge forward when others shrink back. You need a plan to act when others are acting out to their detriment. In the end, tough times will make you better, or they will make you bitter.

Schedule a Call

A man's job is to make the world a better place - to do great things. But to do great things, we need to be able to endure setbacks and even tragedy. There is someone or something that is going to change our plans. The key is not to prioritize your schedule, but to schedule your priorities [Steven Covey]. The priority is about changing how you think about difficulty; it's about doing hard things.

Imagine not just accepting tough times, but liking them.

Not only is it possible, it's necessary. It is making the best of a bad situation. Loving whatever faces us and facing it with an unflinching confidence. Being prepared in advance for adversity. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst.

Imagine a problem catapulting you toward a better place.

Imagine using a problem against itself to your benefit. It won’t happen until your mind shifts in a different direction. Are you ready to go in a different direction? Are you ready to cultivate the tougher part of you? How?

How do we achieve this?

Client Testimonials

A Call to Rise has been a spectacularly positive experience. The program affords clarity and incentive—clarity on how best to define goals, and the motivation to pursue them. Payoffs in areas like health, finances, and relationships have been huge. Besides the stimulating weekly online sessions, we’ve benefited from numerous articles, books, videos, and assignments. Joel and Dan communicate excellence, not only in their teaching but also in their personal lives. As a result, this should be one of my greatest years of growth—ever.

Before joining A Call to Rise, I was struggling with identifying my priorities and staying focused on what matters most. Joel and the Call To Rise coaching group helped me to overcome some of the obstacles I faced and learn how to reach a greater potential. By understanding what reslience really is and how to utilize it in both identifying priorities and persevering through challenges, I feel, and am, much better equipped to achieve my goals and aspirations

Consider this...

Thomas Jefferson had a speech impediment ------> Became our 3rd US President; prolific writer

Thomas Edison was completely deaf -------> Invented the light bulb & motion picture camera

Theodore Roosevelt was frail from asthma -------> Was the longest-serving US President; highly decorated

All rose to the call to do great things.

  • The more you accomplish, the more things will stand in your way.
  • Can you stare it down, or does it intimidate you?
  • Under pressure and trial, we can get better.

Here's your chance to do what matters most.

Here's a chance to improve.

  • First, see clearly.  Next, act correctly.
Finally, endure and accept the world as it is.

A Call to Rise is an operating system for the
difficulties of life.
It's an opportunity to rise to your best.

An operating system built on turning our obstacles upside down by understanding our problems within a larger context

An approach to see things for what they are. To endure and bear what we must.

To do what we can.
